The BALLOON table lamp generates diffused, ambient lighting.

Its form is inspired by antique oil lamps and candle holders, which feature a reflector behind the flame to reflect and direct the light.

The lamp's light source is located inside the cylindrical base and shines upwards, illuminating the tilting reflector.

The lamp's simple yet figurative design lends itself to interpretation, playing with the three-dimensional impression of the flat reflector.

A+A Cooren

Two shells are joined to form a borderline between dark and light, shade and diffusor. They’re bound by three Velcro bands, leaving the shell edges free of metallic joints. When the lamp is on, the inner white shell diffuses a soft, comfortable light, while the indirect light emitted from the top gives the impression that the lamp is floating below the ceiling. The contrast of black ABS outside and opal white acrylic inside is striking even when the light is off.

The three elements – shade, diffusor and Velcro tie bands – are clear and visible features in the design and make the lamp easy to maintain. The lamp is powered by an integrated LED module with a separated driver that allows different smart solutions. There is also an emergency variant available.

The Borderline family of lamps includes floor, suspension and ceiling versions.

The lamp’s design owes its form to the funnel, a highly typical household object, something all our grandmothers used in their kitchens, bottling and decanting wine, olive oil and similar throughout their lifetimes.

While a familiar object it’s also been transformed into a new one, hanging above the kitchen or dining table as a recognizable, iconic light source – a small funnel that serves as a ceiling rosette, a large one casting light onto the horizontal surface below.

Smoke detektors

The KAT line consists of two different entities; KAT big and KAT small. The true value of KAT fixtures stems from the various solutions it can be fitted with. Ranging from a simple ON/OFF switch to autonomous backup-lighting mode in case of blackout, there isn’t a task KAT lights cannot excel at. The affordable price point allows for the mounting of KAT fixtures in the hallways of multi-residential buildings and in the utility spaces within a house.

Playfull combinations of different color of body and a middle button enables many interesting combinations.

Inspired by the Japanese traditional wooden toy, Kokeshi is a beautifully considered object which emits a smooth and comfortable light.

This versatile interior piece may stand by a bed, on a table, or on a cabinet.

The head of Kokeshi glows with an intense light radiating from its face.

The wooden body brings to mind the warm human touch of this traditional toy.

The magic of these arresting, elegant lamps is simplicity. The lamp forms a minimalist narrow beam of light and two graphic lines: one rigid, one curved. The design goal for the Slim lamp was to merge a standard fluorescent tube with the

ballast module into a single object. The ballast module is housed in a bottle-like extension of a metal pipe, which is laser-cut for optimal light emission. The result is a lamp with a monolithic and dignified appearance with unusually slim

body. Slim can be used as a vertical-suspension lamp, floor lamp, or standard horizontal office lamp. The vertical pendant lamp doesn’t require any electrical connection on the ceiling because it feeds from a wall socket. Slim can be used at home, in the office, or in public spaces.

The Slim horizontal suspension lamp won the 2009 Red Dot Product Design Award.

Once again, the simplicity is the main theme of Slim too lamps. The direct, raw quality of 2 different aluminium profiles housing LED light source, as well as electronics, creates a light that is minimal, discrete and ‘anonymous’, and at the same time very ‘present’ in space.

Prototypical elements of suburbia transformed into central elements: icons for our homes.

The Smoke collection is a series of floor lamps based on scaled-down prototypical elements of suburbia – the factory, the car, the parking lot, the house – isolated from their natural context and transformed into iconic additions for the home or office, belching "smoke", illuminating spaces and more. Floor lamps meant to light up living and working environments – to be useful and critical simultaneously – comment on our everyday lives, surrounded by pollution and consumption. Smoke lamps are a picture of our world transformed into a source of light, but they’re also a source of happiness and joy, around which the rituals of life can take place.

They’re big enough to be used in both private and public spaces and are able to function independently or in combination in groups as small urban designs, emitting light through recyclable and easy-to-maintain Tyvek® "smoke" shapes.

Treelight is a lamp surprisingly related to its name - a series of thin 'branches', bunched together into a seemingly random configuration, to be suspended, single or in groups, over our dining or meeting tables. Tips of branches, equipped with minute LED source lamps, evoke the feeling of joy and celebration - exactly what we use our dining tables for – a celebration of life together. Easy to install and assemble as well as lightweight, Treelights are a fun substitute for the heavy chandeliers of our grandmothers - still, with their strong and (sometimes) colorful character, they retain the ability to establish the idea of 'centrality' within the confines of our homes and offices. Existing in two sizes and three colors, they are easily combined into collective configurations, acting as large chandeliers, or used as single lamps. The sizing is suited for both home and office use, as well as for bars and hotel lighting.
