Vertigo Bird, established in 2008, is a Slovenian contemporary award—winning lighting brand designed to inspire. We transform ordinary forms into engaging, timeless designs.

We collaborate with top Slovenian and international designers, including Bevk Perović Arhitekti, A+A Cooren, Neil Poulton and more to create versatile lighting for residential and commercial spaces.

Our high-quality, energy-efficient solutions blend traditional craftsmanship with innovative technology.

The Spark in the Dark.

Founded by Silvo Kačar, the founder and former owner of Arcadia Lightware—one of Slovenia's most successful lighting companies—Vertigo Bird began in Ljubljana as an innovative, independent brand.

The Changing Horizon.

In 2022, Vertigo Bird was acquired by Rona Trgovina d.o.o., a company with a strong heritage in Slovenian lighting. Under new leadership, we have enhanced our product lineup to meet the latest industry standards while preserving our core philosophy—design remains, and always will be, our top priority.

Our name, Vertigo Bird, comes from a film by dancer Iztok Kovač and director Sašo Podgoršek, reflecting our roots and ambition to be a globally recognized lighting brand.

We believe that great design is born from curiosity, collaboration, and meaningful connections. We are committed to creating lighting solutions that are not only functional but also add a creative twist to any space.
